Report Progress

To compete for Progress Rewards and be eligible to advance in the Race, project teams must submit a complete Progress Report by 1 June 2017 at 17:00 GMT. Tell us how your project is delivering measurable progress towards addressing food waste/loss.

Steps to submitting your Progress Report:

  1. Make sure your project team submits a complete Action Entry by 30 April 2017 at 17:00 GMT.
  2. Review the Progress Report Sample.
  3. Review the 1 Race 2 End Waste Terms & Conditions and ensure your project team meets all the requirements.
  4. Review the Progress Report Evaluation Criteria (see below).
  5. Prepare Progress Report submission.
  6. Submit your online Progress Report no later than 1 June 2017 at 17:00 GMT.  


To be eligible for Progress Rewards, you also must submit the link to your 77-Second Video no later than 1 June 2017 at 17:00 GMT.

See the 77-Second Video Guidelines here. While required to compete for Progress Rewards, videos will not be included in the evaluation process.


Teams who submit a complete Progress Report and 77-Second Video by 1 June 2017 at 17:00 GMT will be eligible to compete for the following Progress Rewards:

Top 12 teams:

  • Eligible to receive portion of tech-in-kind from Dell, worth up to $25,000 USD
  • Executive mentorship
  • Invited to collaboration session at Enactus World Cup

Top 4 teams:

  • Travel stipend up to $5,000 USD for advancement to Impact Stage at Enactus World Cup
  • Expert presentation coaching sessions from Roger Love, one of the world’s leading authorities on voice and speech training

All eligible Progress Reports will be evaluated using the following criteria.

Progress Reports will go through three levels of evaluation:

Level 1: A panel of Enactus HQ and partner employees will review all complete Progress Reports submitted by the deadline. Eligible Progress Reports will be evaluated to determine the top 48 Progress Reports that will move on to Level 2 Evaluation.

Level 2: Subject matter experts and Enactus staff will evaluate the top 48 Progress Reports to determine the top 12 Progress Reports that will move on to Level 3 Evaluation.

Level 3: 1 Race 2 End Waste sponsor representatives will evaluate the top 12 Progress Reports to determine the Final Four project teams who will move on to compete in the 1 Race 2 End Waste Impact Competition at Enactus World Cup 2017.
